We were up in Byron for a wedding and had our 3mth old baby with us. Kate was our babysitter for the evening and she was fantastic. Being only 3mths, our son was pretty low maintenance, but it is always hard leaving a young baby with a stranger. However, after Kate arrived, we felt totally comfortable leaving him with her. The fact that she texted us during the evening to tell us that he'd been fed and gone back to sleep no problem, made us feel even better.   We really appreciated the text. Hi Robyn, Ursula and Emily were fantastic and in all accounts, had the kids entertained from the minute they stepped onto the property. Mothers were given some repreive and I hardly saw my 2 children - Jessica came up to me mid meal to say she was tired and was going off to bed...... no crying or anything which was such a relief, and my 6 month was very well taken care of. I didnt have to settle him which was something I was geared up to having to do. I hope the girls enjoyed their time as well and they they were looked after with regards to food, drinks etc. I shall certainlly be using your service again when we come down to Nyron. Hi Robyn, Melinda's wedding was just perfect - the venue, BLUE WATER ON THE BEACH, brilliant! Mel was going to get married on the beach, and as you know it was washed away the week before we arrived, so the caretaker offered the lawns overlooking the Bay for the wedding ceremony. The day was warm and sunny, no wind and just delightful. We certainly appreciated your wonderful service, it was very reassuring to know Kai, and later Rebecca, were being cared for by such a caring and competent person in Kate. She was prompt and happy to help Katrina with the children and knowing she had a police clearance was very reassuring for all of us. We could relax and party away at the FIG TREE knowing they were in good hands. Kai woke up when Katrina brought Rebecca back for bed and Kate managed him and kept him happy - not an easy task in some one else's place and holiday accommodation at that. Even though he would not go back to bed until Katrina arrived back at about 11pm, she arrived to find Kai happy, Rebecca asleep and both children safe. Hi Robyn, we had a lovely time in Byron - I didn't want to go home! I was quite nervous about using a babysitting agency, as my baby Maddison is only 7.5mths old and I have never left her with a babysitter that I didn't know. However, Petrina made me feel very comfortable as soon as she arrived. She was professional and wasn't worried at all when I asked her if she would mind giving the baby a late night feed. Hi Robyn, we really enjoyed our time up there and  had a great time at the wedding. Having spent 30 minutes or so chatting and getting to know Kate we felt very relaxed about leaving Maya with her. Kate was punctual and more than happy to follow Maya's routine to make her feel comfortable whilst we were out. Kate took Maya to the park for the afternoon and it sounds like they had a great time. We arrived home late that night to find Maya in bed having gone down without a fuss (and having not stirred since) which indicated she felt secure with Kate. Dear Robyn, I would just like to say how fantastic Kate was and how much my children loved being with her. My youngest child James (3) always has a mini tantrum when we leave him with anyone other than his grandparents and I don't think he even turned to wave goodbye to me. Hi Robyn, I used your babysitting service during our stay at Byron Bay in April this year and we had Shelley look after our baby. I wish to let you know how wonderful she was -she came prepared (ballons, bubbles and books) which was marvellous because we were not in our home environment and didn't have many toys in the apartment. Shelley appears calm and controlled which is very reassuring for the parent, I felt so comfortable throughout the night. I came back to a tidy and clean house, my dishes put away, baby's dinner eaten and her milk bottle washed. All I had to do was go to bed! Its a very rare experience for me and it was just splendid to simply put it. We have had babysitters before in Melbourne, I wasn't expecting this at all.... Robyn, I'm not sure where you source your sitters, but they are of an exceptional standard. We arrived in Byron Bay without having booked a sitter during the last school holidays, therefore we had to basically take the hours we could get, but you managed to fit us in, swap sitters around and suit out needs perfectly. We had 3 different sitters, the thought of swapping and changing wasn't exactly what we wanted, however,   we had   the 3 most wonderful ladies who all brought different things for the kids each day. The children were wanting to stay longer so they could meet some of   the other sitters on your books too so they could have even more fun! The nannies/babysitters we use in Sydney are not anywhere near as kind hearted, warm and friendly as yours. What a great business you have.
