My name is Robyn Danielson. Some might know me from having lived in Wareemba, Russel Lea and the Drummoyne, Abbotsford, Balmain area where I lived for about 15 years before moving to Byron Bay in 1997.
My maiden name is Robyn Morley, (Rural Bank staff may recognise the name!!!) I lived in Hay for some years, before moving to Sydney in 1973.
My children are probably more well known than I am, Alexandra Danielson who is nearly 23, attended St Johns College, Woodlawn, and has completed her Hospitality, Hotel Management and Tourism course at Sydney Uni, and is looking for a job in that field. She is currently somewhere in Asia on a well earned break.
Madison Swan, who is 14, goes to Woodlawn and has nearly finished year 9 (2009). She is into drama and performing, she is a great athlete and swimmer, has an after school job at the local pharmacy and is into all 14yr old girls do! Madi plays touch football and rugby union for St Johns College and soccer for the under 15's side in Bangalow.
James Swan, who is a champion sportsman in union, league, athletics and swimming has nearly finished his first year at St Johns College. He just wants to play for the Tigers in league and play for the Wallabies in Union. He has signed up for basketball team at college for his summer sport.
I moved to Byron Bay 11 years ago with my 3 children, knowing no one, having no family close by, needing to support my family, I advertised for a baby sitter and received about 300 replies!! That is how BYRON BABE WATCH was created.
My goal was to change babysitting from having the inexperienced "kid next door" to a professional, secure and trustworthy nanny service, providing safe, convenient and quality care for your children.
That I have successfully done, so when a nanny/babysitter arrives at your door, you will know she has has a valid first aid certificate, a criminal history and working with children check, has signed a prohibited persons declaration and has public liability insurance, and has been hand picked as someone who I would want to care for my children.
