By LAW in NSW to work with children you require the following:
 
first aid certificate (copy of certificate required)
public liability insurance for nannies/baby sitters (copy of policy required)
criminal history check & working with children check and prohibited person declaration (you simply need to sign an authorisation for us to perform checks)
 
 
BYRON BABE WATCH also requires:
 
2 current references (in writing) for child care work in the past 6 months
2 current personal references (in writing) obtained in the past 12 months
100 points of identification
 
You also need to be available for day and night work, have a mobile phone and reliable car with full insurance.
